I would like to "scan" my computer to see iff all drivers are up to date. I'm pretty sure I know how to install the updates once I find and download them. Do any of you know of any software that can look and identify any drivers that may be out off date.
Thanks for your help.

You should not update a driver that is working fine, just because there may be a newer driver available. While not common, there are cases where a driver was updated to address someone else's problem, only to cause a problem on your machine.
If you are having a problem with a specific device, then go out and search for an updated driver for that device. In that case you would have something to gain. If the device is working properly, you would have nothing to gain in return for the risk.

I learned that lesson the hard way once by downloading a new video card driver and after update it was terrible. Fortunately both XP and Vista offer you the ability to roll back to the previous driver. I have not updated that video card since.
I do apply all the security and operational updates to the OS. I do keep my update on "Notify me, but do not download or install without permission". That way I can choose the timing of the download and installing, usually allowing enough time to research and see if others are have problems with the updates.
