Had alot of trouble a few weeks back defragging my system wth the "default" windows defragging. Someone on one of these posts recommended this Diskkeeper 2008. I have been using it on trial ware since then but will be sending them a check soon. Awesome program, runs defrag continuosly, I can sure notice the difference. I give it a thumbs up if anyone is interested. Dont have the link handy but you can easily search and find it,
Happy computing,

Arctic Sid

I use Diskeeper Pro 2008 on Vista Home Premium, and I agree- it's excellent. It uses very few resources to defrag, so you can continue to use the PC while it does it's stuff. Fast, stable and it also has a Volume Shadow Copy compatible defrag mode for Vista, which is extremely useful for preserving old shadow copies during a defrag.

:D Hi :

IF your Operating System is Win XP or earlier, would be better to use the FREE "Power Defragmenter GUI 2.0.....", developed by antiSPYWARE Expert "RejZor" and available at his Site at www.excessive-software.eu.tt .

I've been using the 2007 version of Diskeeper and i think its great, for the same reasons someone mentioned. No conflicts with other functions even while its defraggin in the background.
