Death note another note I think its called its about the los angeles cases when he was working with Naomi Misora and Rey Pember. Have you seen the movies?

I'm glad you made this thread because we would have probably annoyed people in the article thread. =)

I am currently watching the anime (which is awesome), and reading the manga (which, again, is awesome).

I want to finish the series before I watch the movies (which I heard good things about).

LoL Movie warning different ending then the series and baaaad acting but the 2nd is much better then the first. If your a deathnote fan though you'll like it.


I don't like light very much at all honestly. L is obviously my favorite character he's so smart and weird. The animation of the shimigami in the movies are cool.



Did I mention I got the L book I think I did. There is a theory somewhere that L has autism thats why he acts so weird and is so smart. I also like Rem, but I don't like Ryuk very much he has grown on me. Are you watching the shows in english or in japanese with subs?

Nice, I can't stand the voice changes in the american dub.


The "real" band is the later korn looking guys at the end. The goth, hippies and rappers and pop stars are all bands kira kills off. They are other popular bands in Japan (or at least mocking other popular bands in Japan). I know when I first watched it I was like....... rap???? Its making fun of them though.

I just finished Death Note about a month ago. It's still the best anime I've ever seen. The only part of it I hated was the second intro. I like metal and heavy metal, but the second intro isn't music, just trash. It makes up for it though, since the second ending them is great. I haven't seen any of the movies however, since I've heard bad things about them. I may watch them though, when I'm bored someday.

Oh, and like most people, my favorite character is L. He's hard not to like. :p

Death note is definatly something special. A lot of people who
don't like anime will like Death Note. I enjoy the movies, as much as
they are bad. Again 2nd one is much better then the first.








So I got the Death Note Another Note : Los Angelus BB Murder Cases
about L working with Naomi Misora. So far the only complains are that
the person writing (different then the creators of the manga) has
clearly never been to America for any significant amount of time anyway
so its more like Japan based in "America".

The
printing says the first printing was just this last month (Feb 08), the
quality of the book, besides the writing is superb. The cover is soft
and the pages are very nice. I would get it just for the quality of
the book itself.





Anyway back to the movies. L's movie came out in Japan last month.
Hopefully I can see it sometime. Anyway here are some images of L
since he is your favorite character from the Death Note movies. They
did a pretty good job on casting L and Yagami-san however Light and
Misa don't really look like themselves (and did you see the video of
Ryuk up there? Animation is so sweet)

Would that book happen to be an actual book, or is it manga? If it's a book, I may just have to get one for myself. Where did you find it? I never really liked manga much though; too expensive for what short parts of the story are included. And if I'm not buying it, and reading it online, I'd be better off just downloading the anime instead.

Yeah, no problem... it's a great manga site.
In any case about animeviewer; I take it you're using Internet Explorer? - If this is the case: Microsoft loves to whine about copyright infriged, or illegally operated sites (you probably noticed that streaming full animes is illegal). I've, personally, never gotten any messages of these sorts due to me being a Firefox user (Windows or Linux). The site does have an extended amount of pop-ups, maybe that is what those messages were about?

Its an actual book written by someone other then the people who do the manga. I got the book from a Barnes and Nobles in the Mall of America. Amazon listing.

Someone posted the link for 4chan a while ago, I don't know who it was. I tried it yesterday, but when I went to check some things out, I kept getting this window from the site, telling me of some things there, (like soft-core and hard-core you-know-what) and wanting me to agree to not hold them responsible for anything.


It happened every time I clicked on any anime (not interested in the other stuff) so I decided to follow my gut feeling and hightailed it out of there. I quickly removed them from my Favorites - where I save things that I want to check out later, and won't be visiting there again.

Yeah I have no interest in the (you know what) stuff either. I go there for the Anime & Manga Imageboard - I think it is the largest on the web! The site makes you agree to it's ToS for every board (even if it is just anime or manga), because there is not a lot of moderation on the site; so someone could post something violating the ToS and it wouldn't get deleted for a long time.
