Now that Peerflix is officially dead,I had to find a alternative method of getting my dvds for free,I stumbled upon 2 sites, one is called Mydvdtrader.com and other
tradeadvd.com.Tradeadvd.com is a community site, which allows users to trade in thier dvds with others for free, similiar to what Peerflix offered.Unlike Peerflix,tradeadvd.com is just a no thrills site without all the bells and whitsles of Peerflix.Trades can be obtained for free,if you are willing on waiting for someone
to initiate a trade you or you can buy points for as little as 69 cents, depending on what membership package, you select.I have tried them out several times and although I have had to wait a while, with todays economy being the way,it is,that free dvd wait, was well worth it.
On the other hand,Mydvdtrader.com is a very exciting dvd trading site, with all the great features, any dvd trading fan,can expect to see in a site of this nature.
I really enjoyed its many member tools to keep you busy, while you wait for dvd trade to start with you, features such as a video gallery, where users can share thier favorite movie trailers to thier own in house classifieds, where users who dont have the patience to wait it out for a trade, can simply sell thier trades via that method.I believe ads start as low as only 99 cents to post and if you dont sell it,they will grant you a free credit for it.
Overall,I like using Mydvdtrader.com better over Tradeadvd.com but both places give you, what you want in a dvd trading community:FREE DVDS.

My wife and I have been using the free service at www.List-Go.com for the last few months and we LOVE it! You get a free account and then we keep our grocery list online. We can of course both add stuff to it, print, and it keeps a history, so it's really easy to make new lists. The best part is though, you can use it with any cell phone. When you get an account, they give you a list-go address. When you think of something to add to the list, you just send a text message to that address, "milk, eggs, bread", and BAM! milk eggs and bread are on your list! I always think of things for the list, when I'm driving or out some where. Now I never forget to add it. Also, you can text the word "send", and it will send you a text message with your list! I'm not sure how, or why this site is free, but it's sweet!

if theres anything outhere better than Glary utilities I'd like to know about it . Talk about a small app that just sits there till you need it . Spyware Doctor is pretty good freeebie also ,
I'm one of those guys that if you show me a list I'll pick the wrong one regardless of what it is, so when I luck up on good stuff I howl at the moon

As my first post I would like to add Pandora Radio. Like Slacker it will automatically play random songs within a genre but with Pandora you create a "radio station" by typing in an artist. This play give you the artists musical feautures and qualities and play similar music based on previous artist. You can add artists to have multiple genres on the same station or make more stations. Also if you like what has been played you can choose to play more of this artist or style or even tell not to play that song ever again.
It's a nice service that I thought I'd share with everyone.
www.pandora.com
Once you create account it's easily one click accessible through MSN Messenger pressing the MSN Music button in the left column.

You guys recommended a free calculator in your May 2008 issue Moffsoft FreeCalc, find.pcworld.com/60152.
I read the previews and people were saying that it is too basic. Check out this website, I think this calculator is fantastic and it is also free.

One freebie missing from your list is tripit.com, which I find extremely useful. When I make a plane reservation for a trip, I simply forward the confirmation email to tripit, and they build an itinerary for me with all the info I want to take along. As hotel, car, etc., are confirmed, I forward those confirmations, and the itinerary is automatically expanded. I can also add meetings and other events. If I need basic info, I can send an email message such as "get trip 6/17/2008" and get a quick summary of essentials. It really is a huge time saver.
