I still haven't loaded it on my Vista machine so I can't say what has happened yet; however, after reading several posts on the page you link, many have mentioned they haven't had any problems, which is good news!

Hi rtfire1

You are making me paranoid now.
Do you mean that if I by a brand new PC with a 32bit Vista on it, and format it and install XP Home that I will have troubles???

So far, after three weeks of using SP1 on my Vista laptop, the only thing I can say is, faster boot and shutdowns qicker backups to an external hard drive and on problems withany drivers or perphials???? ( spelling isn't my forte ) so if you had any problem, either something wasn't done right to begin with or I am losing my mind and the last three weeks have been an illusion, NOT........ you cand always delete and re-install.....:p

[~93816] Some of the new laptops do not have all the drivers out there to work with xp like no sound and other things I even paid a company to scan my pc and find me the drivers cost 30 bucks and they gave me my money back because there are no xp drivers
