I have several movie clips taken with my digital camera of my Grandson on the football field. I just started messing around with Windows Movie Maker, and decided I'd like to try to make a movie from all the clips I've saved. The problem is, they are all saved with the file extension <.mov>, which WMV doesn't support and therefore won't import. Can I change the file extension to like <.wv>? Without ruining the clip?

Hey aksuec!!

I have a few suggestions for you but, you might have to learn how to use these converters. The learning curve isn't that steep so, you shouldn't have any problems.

First one is Super DVD Creator v9.8 . It will create a DVD of your mov files so you can play them on any DVD player.

Find it here: http://www.afterdawn.../software/videosoftware/videotools/superdvdcreator.

Second one is VidCrop , basically the same but, maybe a little easier to work with.

Find it here : http://www.geovid.com/VidCrop/ .

Here is a third option: AVS Video Converter. Always goog to have options.

Find it here :http://www.avs4you.com/AVS-Video-Converter.aspx?type=GoogleAdWordsContent&gclid=CIvpsqmxpZICFRkyFQodJFVTQw

I hope this is what you were looking for. If not come back and we will try something else but, either one should work well .
