From what I read at ThreatFire website it has lots of real time protection.
ALSO if ThreatFire is as good as their site says its all you need.

Posted Image Hi Parker :

"ThreatFire" is considered a "HIPS" ( Host-based Intrusion Prevention System ) type of security program

and should NOT "conflict" with an existing Antivirus program . These types of programs require a "learning

curve" usually . However, I would NOT recommend ThreatFire, but a program called "DefenseWall" .

The Best Source of Info on HIPS programs is the "other anti-malware software" Forum at

www.wilderssecurity.com/ . The Thread at [http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=204037]

is a very good Introduction on the subject of "HIPS" .

I'd be VERY careful of buying anything from PC Tools. I've been trying to get one of their programs to work for three months and can't get help of my money back.

Threat Fire is a great program. It is an HIPS program, but I have found 3 viruses or spyware on my computer since I have used it. PC Tools is a trustworthy company.
