I liked McAdam's Poloroid analogy about regulating wireless providers. By that logic, all industries (like the financial markets) that move quickly should be automatically exempt from any form of regulation.

Whether or not Skype's petition gets quashed by Martin, Skype has changed the game by bringing the "openness" issue to light for many lawmakers and taxpayers. It's not surprising to me that the wireless carriers have "volunteered" to open their networks just enough to derail any kind of real policymaking by the FCC. Imagine that.
