I am having trouble with COMODO Firewall.

Were is the list of programs that it is allowing to access the internet? I was using ZoneAlarm and had no trouble. ZoneAlarm was allot easier to understand, and I know allot about computers.(Probably not as much as you guys, but I do know allot).


COMODO has tooooooooooooooooooo many buttons. ZoneAlarm was allot easier. I will continue to try COMODO for awhile, so far, I am not impressed.


Any Comments?

Is there anybody out there that has allot of exsperiance with COMODO? I would apeciate some help right now.

The Best place to start would be the Comodo Support Forum at

I, personally, do NOT recommend ANY Comodo product , perhaps because of their

"Shady" Past . The ONLY FREE Firewalls I recommend are Zone Alarm, Sygate, or

Sunbelt Kerio plus for Vista 32 bit OS, the PC Tools Firewall Plus .

I have heard the Comodo Firewall can be extremely difficult to COMPLETELY REMOVE

from a computer .

What personal firewall do you reccomend? I have heard the ZoneAlarm(The one that I currently use) has allot of security leaks. What do you think?

I unistalled COMODO with no problem. They came out with Version 3, so that might have fixed the problem. Also, what is the shady past you were talking about?

I am far from being a firewall "Expert" . I have been using the FREE Sygate Firewall for quite

some time ; before it was bought out by Symantec a couple of yrs ago, it was considered One

of the Top Firewalls . Symantec has "abandoned" it .

As far as Firewall Leak tests are concerned, Matousec is considered the Best and their Info at

their "My leaks" page & saw "No requests for your IP address found. Requests are generated by some tests from [Security Software Testing Suite "

I do not know IF this means my Sygate Firewall "passed" their "Test" !?

I "Pass" . IF interested in Sygate, I will give the best download Site & "SetUp Guide" !?
