Windows Vista System Time is Always Slow

I have a new Dell running Vista I also have all the latest updates for Vista but I can never keep the right time on this system, my clock is always running slow, can someone help with this problem?
I give up on calling Dell for support.

yer post is not in the best location to be found by the members. If you can, delete your post here and take a look at the windows board folder.

Is your clock minutes, or hours behind compared to what? Cellphone, atomic clock, or what?

Hours- check to see that your clock matches the timezone you live in
Minutes- change sync to time.nist.gov

if those still don't help, check the cmos battery, it might be going bad.
