I have a question. I have a phantom folder on my computer that it will not let me delete. It was created from an error. It shows as if it is there, but I can not delete it. It says that it can not delete file: Cannot read from the source file or disk. I can not even remove it from DOS. If I try to put something in it.....it duplicates the folder and places file moved into the duplicate. Does any one know how to remove this folder from windows. I would appreciate it.

Try rebooting the system in safe mode and then see if the folder can be deleted.

Or try this link : http://ccollomb.free...ocker/#download for unlocker. Some of the regular forum members recommended this utility to others and i also tried it a couple of times and it works well.

I would like to thank the person who recommended unlocker. It worked great. I really appreciate it.
