Now, the unlimited texting plans....that's a bargain, especially if you have kids!!! I was paying $15/month for 1500 texts for one son, then the younger one wanted to text too. Another $15...or $30/month for unlimited texts for all 4 phones in the family. That's a no brainer!!!

Clearly Ms. Arar isn't the target audience of the new unlimited talk plans and thus probably shouldn't be impressed. Since she and her husband never go over their 450 shared minutes, it would be silly for them to switch. The cell phone companies are targeting "heavy users" with these plans. More to the point, the carriers aim to KEEP their high-usage customers with these plans. For those of us who presently spend hundreds or thousands of dollars in monthly plan and overage charges, these plans are a godsend, regardless of whether or not they come with unlimited data included.
