Today when i logged in here , i noticed a mcafee advertisement on the top of the login page. It also said something like spam quiz. So i decided to have a go at it. Here is the direct link just in case you are not able to get that - www.siteadvisor.com/quizzes/spam_mcafee/index2.html
Its a small one. Just 8 questions . It took around 2 minutes at my slow dsl connection. Wont take much time at the super-charged net connections many of you have here. Here is my result. They gave me a tightrope walker. lol

No googling , no multiple tries. post your first time results. Lets see how good you people are without any security applications. Just by looking at the screens of pages given there you have to judge if its safe or not. Its fun. So try it out.

so you are at risk .lol btw - sandbox wont work for spams in your mailbox. But mcafee site advisor works great.
Seriously i myself wasnt expecting 7 out of 8. I though i would get around 5. But when it came up, i was happy looking at that figure. Sometimes you can just by looking at the design of a web page judge , how good it is . I hope you are getting what i m trying to say.
Anyway thanx for taking this quiz. :-)

"YOU GOT 8 OF 8 QUESTIONS CORRECT
Rating: Safety Guru
Spammy
e-mails don't even stand a chance of penetrating your inbox. Your
practically clairvoyant knowledge of the Web allows you to distinguish
between safe sites and those that might share your personal information
with third parties. We're impressed! But remember that even one misstep
can put your inbox at risk. With McAfee SiteAdvisor, easy to
understand, useful information about each site you visit (how many
e-mails received, what types) is now freely available."

YOU GOT 6 OF 8 QUESTIONS CORRECT Rating: Tightrope Walker
Not bad. You avoided some sites that would have shared your e-mail address with third parties. But you chose others that would have resulted in your inbox being filled with approximately 800 spammy e-mails per week. Wouldn't it be great to keep your inbox free of unwanted spammy e-mails? With McAfee SiteAdvisor, easy to understand, useful information about each site you visit (how many e-mails received, what types) is now freely available.
I just avoid one that has ads that said Free stuff, or have half naked woman on it.

I posted info in the everything goes thread but I can tell you here too. Sometimes when I post a Community Voices blog post I include a comic, Yumi here showed up in the 'Frets on Fire' one which is the last one I did. =/ Anyhow I have since I made that one decided that she's going to be more or less the main char of whatever comics I happen to make here so I wanted to give her a little more exposure along with cleaning up my signature line a bit and adding another little dude. Yumi, is sort of me, its not me at all at the same time. Here's the link to the full image if you want to take a look the inks a bit thick some things are a bit off but its ok since mostly I made it for the sig here lol.

Partially yes, another reason also is that I made a specific PCW myspace page to organize some of my things better and wanted an image for it. That and all the reasons listed before. I made the hand to display the free rice thing, but also figured if I needed a pointing image to something else I can always edit it lol.
