Dunno why this happened but it shows a popup that says "Internal Error" when i try to install sp3. It does in the middle of the installation, tried restarting reinstalling and still doent work. Tried google but nothing came up.

Lilxkid - you may be one of the first to try SP3, so it may be a little while before you get many responses. I haven't even considered trying it yet.

Hey LILX!!

I just received my yellow sheild for the SP3.

I also went on the TeckNet site for info.

I'll try and post the Link for TeckNet .

There are many links on that page to help out and instruct you on the install.

FLASHORN.

Okay,
I just installed it without any problems. I'm wondering if you have a corrupted download.

Lilxkid - did you download and directly install as one transaction, or did you download the file and then attempt an install?

Hi Flashorn, I got the little yellow Shield and lo and behold, there was SP3. I clicked to download and the shield up and disappeared. No Download. As it turned out, I didn't have that "Genuine Windows Authenication Tool" installed. I installed it from Windows Update service, But backed off on SP3. Did get a couple of updates For my HP printer though. coastie

Hi RGreen. Yes, it is very refreshing to see him troubleshoot his own problem and resolve the problem, which in turn, helps others with the same problem.
