hello pcw

today when i tried to post in one discussion i was greeted with a profanity filter error. I was shocked at this since the message was as always clean .I tried posting on another thread but same error. Is anyone else else having similar problems ?

Did the servers take a dip today or was it scheduled maintainence ?

The exact time was around 2 hours before current time.

Hi Piyush. Yes, I just heard from Kellie that there may have been a technical or server issue that blocked all posts and labeled them as violating the Profanity Filter. I believe it started as earlier as 3AM EST.

hello mph

thanx for the quick reply as always. I was wondering if that issue was related to a specific user account but now it seems fine . You say it was a server issue. Then its ok.

Yeah, I don't know what happened but I didn't change anything with the profanity filter, which leads me to believe that something else happened and produced this erroneous error.

@ kellie

another thing which isnt working properly is the people's section . A screen might help you get this better.

Hey Piyush!!

I got that same screen last week but, thought it was because we were having some issues

and did not report it. In hind sight , maybe I should have.

Sorry. :( Yes, the forums had an unplanned outage this morning due to a continuing error. We've sent the logs to Jive (the makers of our software) for examination.

I always announce planned outages, so anything unannounced is probably unplanned.

I was trying to get here earlier today, about 8:46am and the same thing happened to me. I kept getting the same picture and same message as Piyush, and no matter how I tried to do a workaround (going through the Business section, Download section, etc.,) I wasn't able to.

So I just shut it down and did the next best thing: Went SHOPPING! LOL :^0 I'm so glad the forum is back up again!

All search functions should be working normally, and all posts that were previously blank should have their text in them. Three cheers for {user:username=bcappel}!
