Point 14's off a little.
"14. No word in the English language rhymes with month, orange, silver and purple."
"Liver" rhymes with "silver" and "carpel" with purple.

It's probably one of those old laws that, for some strange reason, made sense several hundred years ago, but is unenforceable and irrelevant today, but it was never revoked. Every State, or country for that matter, has these old laws which are still legally enforceable, but anyone trying to do so would be laughed out of court. For example, in my homeland (Scotland), we still have a law which states that it's illegal to be drunk, and in possession of a cow; or in Hereford, England, you may not shoot a Welsh person on Sunday with a longbow in the Cathedral Close; or In Liverpool, England, it is illegal for a woman to be topless in public unless they are a clerk in a tropical fish store. These laws have never been revoked, so technically, anyone not abiding by them can be arrested, but there isn't a cop around who would arrest someone who broke one of them. Do some research, and I'm sure that you'll find that in Virginia, number 7 is indeed still on the law books, along with several other silly laws.

This is true for most people no matter where they are! Unless you want to quibble over the definition of "is" :D

Yeah, but to be so specific about it, like it would be legal to carry a concealed weapon which was 5'11" in length... !http://forums.pcworld.com/legacyimages/

So are you saying it would be laughed out of court if you got done for killing a Welshman with a longbow in the Cathedral Close at Hereford on a Sunday ?

I don't write these silly laws... I just quote them. !http://forums.pcworld.com/legacyimages/
