I disagree. Google has the better free email server by far. Can you download Yahoo email into any standard email client? (If so, how many hoops did you have to jump through?)
IMHO, Yahoo has the better toolbar and selection of Groups.
owever, Yahoo has a "god complex." I've lost my Yahoo account because of my participation in Yahoo Answers. Yahoo has made it impossible for me to even log into my account. I lost all use of my email, my Groups, YM, my Bookmarks... everything Yahoo related is gone. Yahoo won't even tell me WHY!! I have absolutely no recourse whatsoever. Because of this, I want nothing at all to do with Yahoo.

[~57662] . What ever you have with Yahoo is your problem.....Not mine nor evrybody else...
I 'm just saying general (Normal) people uses. You can disagree all you want but thats what I think.
BTW..don't expect too much in FREE stuffs....Be graceful thats there....for you to use and FREE.
(P/S..: I have Paid account with Yahoo email...and It works great with my Office 2007....Outlook.) But still use Google for Search engine and toolbar.

I am aware that paid Yahoo accounts allow for downloading email, but you were the one to specify the free account.
I am by NO means the only one with the exact same problem. The biggest problem I have with it is that they took their action without even looking into it or discussing it with me. If they had, I'd at least know what I was being accused of. Is that really too much to ask for? Yahoo seems to think it is.

I think this alliance is great. Since their not merging with them they are helping them and getting helped by Yahoo! Lets face it Yahoo use to be #1 and then the fell behind. This is just the thing for both Yahoo and Google, yahoo is working with google on improving their messanger service.
