Hello

I am using XPhome edition, and now every time I turn on my computer I get the folloing message

"Microsoft Visual C Runtime library

Runtime error!
Program: C:Progra~1yahooyopyop.exe
This application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the applications support team."

There is no change in performance, other then "protection updates" not working in Norton protection center, though I'm not sure if they are linked.

Thanks!!!

* Is norton service provided to you through the SBC yahoo protection suite ? yop.exe is a process related to that only.

* Have you done any updates to the system after which the errors started to pop up ?

Hi, ejdo.http://www.pcworld.com/howto/article/0,aid,120357,00.asp]

See my article [Stop Those Annoying Boot-Up Error Messages
. It was written about 3 years ago, but I think most of the advice in it is valid.
