--No, not the kind of cookie that is in the computer cache--the real kind.

I'm eating one of these right now. It's a little dry, but it's a tasty one.

Which kinds of cookies do you like?

I like a good date filled oatmeal cookie. This is pretty simple to do, just use a regular oatmeal cookie recipe or prepared dough, roll it out flat and cut into circles. Take a pound of dates and if not pitted, remove pits. Mix the dates with a tablespoon of dark brown sugar and a quarter cup of corn syrup. Spoon the dates unto one of the cookies and cover with another and use the fingertips to seal the edges. Bake at 350 for 15 to 20 minutes or until the tops brown and become firm. Allow to cool and enjoy.

I think that those are what my mother called "rocks". They are yummy. She always makes a double batch of dough so that my dad can eat half of it raw.

I am not big into baking, but when I do make cookies, they are generally one of two types: Snickerdoodles (cinnamon sugar coated sugar cookies) and Bourbon Balls (but I use Jack Daniels, which is technically not bourbon).

I use to eat peanut butter cookies all the time. I dunno I don't eat many cookies anymore. I guess I like soft new chocolate chip ones. The one's from Subway are also pretty good.

I like the soft dark chockolate cookies that aren't too sweet. I'm not to big on really sweet cookies, they kind of make me sort of sick almost.

Hey Kellie, Jack Daniels ( my fav) IS NOT Bourbon. It IS Tennessee Sour Mash whiskey. If you want Bourbon then try Makers Mark. End of Bourbon lesson.......exiting the classroom. coastie

Which is why I said in my previous post that Jack Daniels is not bourbon. You should read before you reply! :)

I tried the cookies with actual bourbon, and didn't like them as much. I guess it's because I was raised on the cookies with JD.

I am an avid grape person when it comes to PB&J. No strawberry allowed near my PB!
