I turned on my computer and just like that ,the screen did not turn black as is supposed to do when one is booting up the system. it just turned white and stayed that way . I tried restarting the system again but it did not help. i have tried a couple of things like tapping the back beacuse i thought maybe the connector was loose to no avail. a went a head and connected the laptop to another monitor to check if it was my video card but that to did not work .I have tried all the things i know still can't get it working . if anyone knows what could be happening and how to solve this puzzle ,please help me.

Sounds like your inverter is going out. It is a fairly easy fix but can be costly if you don't do it yourself. I have done this many times and would be happy to give you the low down on how this is done. Send me you laptop make and model and I will point you in the right direction to get the part that you need. The nice thing about LCD's is that they are really not that complicated and essay to fix. So anyway get back to me and I would be happy to help you get this fixed.
