Worst current os thats been out. Microsoft phails!!!!!!! so many problems so many bugs especially uac whoever the hell invented that needs to shoot themselves in the face. It is the most annoying thing ever. Vista crashes very oftentoo with blue screens..... they suck in hardware barely anything compatable, its such a resource hog using so much damn ram and cpu. vista has retarded features and its still buggy and glitchy. ive had problems on vista that i never had on xp. the google stupid bar or whatever is dumb just a waste of space having a wiget there. the flipscreen is stupid you cant do literally crap with it comparedto expose on mac. Vista is just a stupid and a phail os thank god i use a mac now. end of my rant

Hi
* uac - the same thing in linux has always been praised and msft takes the blame for the same. Seems funny to me.
* blue screens - you maybe having lots of old drivers , a question thread may be needed to this.
* hardware compatibility - blame the hardware manufacturers for that and not vista. If my device does not run on linux or any other OS , i wont blame anyone but the device manufacturers.
* resource hog - no. its not. Infact they are better "utilized" than under xp.
* retarted features - there isn't even a single feature in vista that has been degraded from xp. Either improved or new features have been added.
* google bar - I was ROFL after this . why would such a thing come with a OS.

threads are meant for questions or discussions , just rants like this are better suited for personal blogs. Although this is no rule but this is just my opinion. What seems bad to you is what so many others are using and loving .I hope you can understand that. Cheers. :)

FYI - vista defragmenter has the ability to run in background while XP defragmenter cant . And who cares about the graphical lines moving here and there as i dont think anyone sits in front watching the defrag process complete. Moreover as , vista defrag runs in background , there is no need of manual defragmentation in most cases. So no watching.

I agree with Piyush, if all you wanted was to rant about Vista then a personal Blog would have been a better venue for you.

BTW, I happen to have Vista Home Premium and I absolutely love it.

I DO my work on my computer, everyday, and Vista suits me fine.

But everybody is entitled to their own opinion.

Have a nice Sunday.

when you dont have sufficient info about what is going inside you should not go on bashing something. FYI - vista idles at 600MB out of 2 gigs at my PC. On 1 gig machne it will take around 450 mb something . Give it more it will utilize it more in making things fast.

And if you think you do real work on your PC , then you should have known this. Anyway , you dont like vista , then dont use it . FINE .PERIOD.

Hi Everyone. LilxKid is correct. Let's not turn this into a bigger issue than necessary. Sunirockman is entitled to his opinion. Millions of people hate Windows Vista and millions of people love Windows Vista. Microsoft cannot, and should not have to, please everybody.

Sunirockman, if you would like to continue to voice your displeasure of Windows Vista, please do so in a Blog posting. You can start one by clicking here.

Hi Piyush. Think nothing of it. My post was not directed directly at you. It was more of a proactive post for any future posts. Believe me, the title of this Discussion is enough to draw in some very heated exchanges.
