The only new thing this launch provided were some kick-butt discrete mobile graphics cards from ATI and Nvidia. Mobile Penryn and "N" had already been shipping for a while, so no new news. Intel still cannot ship the graphics chipset or WiMax module......who really knows when they will ship? When the IGP X4500 ships, you really need to question the performance on 3D for stuff like Vista, Picassa, and Google Earth, and yes, of course games. Intel has historically had an incompatibility list a mile long, so you really cant expect much. On the video side, with ATI and Nvidia doing HD video decode on the IGP, how does Intel do? Ohhhhh those figures werent provided today, were they. Why? Because they probably stink!
