When ever I click on a photo online to view it gets copied to my hard drive in the Content.IE5 folder.

I can't seem to get to the location to delet them. The only way I know they're there is when I have a photo I actually took from my camera and go to saveas...it brings me to all these files under the content.IE5 folder.

Please help asap.

I am assuming you are runiing windows XP or earlier windows. Open internet explorer . Tools -> internet options . In the general tab , there will be delete browsing history . Clear it all if you want Or just clear the temporary internet files there .

Windows XP.

I delete the browsing history and Files and settings stored by add-ons everyday...sometimes twice a day. I defragment too...at least once a week.

At present i cannot confirm if its an issue or not. What i will suggest is to manually empty those folders once and then adjust the settings in IE7. Then if the problem appears again , then post back.

* Enable hidden folder view and navigate to following path - C:Documents and SettingsusernameLocal SettingsTemporary Internet Files where username is your login name . Empty this folder manually.

* Everytime you browse to any website, the contents are stored in the temp folders so that the sites open quickly next time you visit the site again. You can set the size of this folder in internet options. Move the slider to the level that suits you ,somewhere around 50MB or less if you want.

* Also set this upto automatically clear the temporary files when you exit the browser. In IE7 , tools -> internet options. Go to advanced tab, move down to security section and you will see the setting there.
I have attached a screenshot for the same . Apply and OK.
