A few months ago I read a PCWorld article about a free program that captures Flash images to your hard drive for offline access. I thought it was a Steve Bass tip but I couldn't find it in his archives so I'm probably "misremembering".
If anyone knows what I'm talking about I'd appreciate a heads-up.
Thanks.

Hi Uncle. First, some housekeeping. I have changed your Discussion title to give a clearer indication of your question. For future reference, please be as descriptive as possible in both the heading of your Discussion as well as the post itself. Also, as Kellie suggested in your previous Discussion, if you have questions about either the PCWorld site or the PCWorld magazine, please post that Discussion under that respective Community. Kellie monitors both of those Communities regularly and she would be one of the main people that can track down the information you need. I have moved this Discussion to the PCWorld Magazine Community.
Now, do you have a better idea of when this article was issued or the name of the article? Any detailed information you can provide will make it easier for Kellie, or anyone else, to help answer your question.

Oops! My bad; I didn't realize there was a forum for questions specifically about the magazine. I assumed the Community was a catch-all. That's what I get for not checking more carefully.
Regarding the article, all I remember was the writer describing a program that captures and saves Flash animation and images. I wish I could recall more but, sadly, I have a memory like a sieve.
Thanks for your help.

Hi Wayne,
If you're talking about a free flash image capture, you might be able to find it in the Downloads section. I think that a lot of the articles about free stuff would most likely be there.
I wish I could be of more help. If you had a ballpark on when you read this article (March, April, etc.) I might be able to look through my mags and try find it for you.

Thanks, Adama. When I read PCW I usually dog ear each page that has information I think I might want to revisit. I've been flipping through back issues but for the life of me I cannot find that piece. Nor can I remember if it was early this year or late last year.
