For the past couple of yeas I have been running Spy Sweeper by Webroot (for Spyware/Adware) along with Norton Internet Security (for AntiVirus & Firewall) to protect my computer. My subscription renewal date is coming in a couple months and have been thinking of making a change of software. Webroot recently came out with Webroot AntiVirus with AntiSpyware and Firewall. This program would bundle the features I get from two programs all into one.
My question is: should I continue to use the two different programs? and if not does the Webroot AntiVirus with Anti Spyware and Firewall have the power and features to protect my computer on its own?

Thanks for any info you can provide.

There are plenty of free effective options. Here's a blog post I made, a while ago so you should google each name to find the offical site so you can make sure you download the most up to date version for your operating system.

Paid software
Kaspersky internet security suite
ESET NOD32 internet security suite those 2 are the best free one for nod32 being the most lightweight and scans the fastests

Free
Avast Antivirus
Superantispyware+lavasoft for Antispyware
zone alarm for firewall or use a router firewall or windows firewall your choice.

Dont go back to Norton it is slow as hell and it just sucks very badly.

Heres a document here that explain more in detail of security software.
