Here's the best reason yet not to get Vista, DVD X Copy won't work with it. I have an old copy of this program and it is great for making backup copies of movies that I own. Now I find out that it will not work with Vista. Someone explain to me how this is better.

Hi HockeyNut and welcome to the PCWorld Communities. :D
Unfortunately, there is nothing really that we can do for you regarding this issue. DVD X Copy's specific intent is to crack the encryption on DVDs so that one can make copies of movies. The reason DVD X Copy went out of business is because of all of the restrictions placed on applications such as that. Based on this, and the {document:id=1000}, this Discussion will be closed.
