Hey Aurora!!

I know this is about what ails the forum but, you started this thread so , I`ll

post to you.

Yesterday 11 / 8 / 08 at 7:56 pm and again today 12 / 8 / 08 at 7:51 am ,I have been trying to post

more than one image and again I could not upload more then one.

Two post 12hrs apart and still the same thing. This happened when I was using FF3 last week so ,

reverted back FF2.0.0.16. Went well for about three days. Yesterday and this morning, it started to do the

thing again. I changed to IE7 and then back to FF2 but, the same results. Now I have tried two browsers

so, this is not on my end. Are there still some issues that we should know about Aurora?

I depend on those images for my explanations. It just makes it so much easier for the members to understand

your directions. Anyways if you could relay this to the proper authorities, I would be grateful.

Have also tried different ways to take my images, Screen dumps and CropperCapture but, with the same results.

Thanks Aurora.

Its late, and I don't quiet get what your saying. That you can't upload to the images more the one image at once correct? You could always offlink from another site like photobucket and insert the images that way. Thank you for reporting the issue. As far as "reporting it to the proper authorities," I am sure that website technicians who work on the forum read this thread, and everything posted in this forum.

Hi Flashorn and Aurora. I am pretty sure this was addressed previously but let me see if I can help clear some thing up. There is definitely an issue with posting more than one image in any particular post while using Firefox 3. Bill, the PCWorld Technician, stated that this is a known issue and there is really nothing that PCWorld can do about this. The only work-around is to use Internet Explorer (or revert back to Firefox 2). Now, I do not remember if this issue was prevalent within Firefox 2 or not.

Take a look at this post I submitted into the CNN Alart Discussion:

http://forums.pcworl...e/135626#135626

In order for me to post these two images, I had to switch to Internet Explorer 7. As annoying as IE 7 is to me, there is still some use for it. Is this what you meant Flashorn?

Hey Both of you!!

Actually MPH, I know about FF3 and it's inability to upload images. We discussed this last week

This is why I reverted back to FF2. But now, yesterday and this morning Even in ff2 AND IE7, I still

cannot upload more than one image. I rebooted twice I cleared all cookies and signed back in

Cleaned all files I could think of . I even ran Registry Mechanic ( I didn't like doing this to Vista but.)

OK, I'll try it now :

MPH

I don't know why, I can now load images. I posted them in the Rich Text and

I varied my reply from me to your post . My first post , my car wasn't there , the

second and third all images were there. Go figure. I fought with this issue

yestrday and this morning and now I can upload. I'll try and edit one of my earlier

post and see what comes of it.

Last time I cheched, Phelps had three of the Golden variety!

Hi Adama. Kellie informed me that Bill is out of the office today to address this issue. He will look into both the Profile issue and the post issues as soon as he can.

Hi MPH,

I just sent you a PM, go ahead and disregard it. One very curious thing that I noticed, though = it seems to only happen in the PCW contest view and vote thread...

Or, has it happened in other threads too......????? ?:|

Dogonet...

I haven't read the last posts in this discussion but another "topic, or thread" has been deleted. The original discussion was titled "BSOD Error" and it's place was in Answer Line. So much for a screenshot, the thread has vanished. :P

Well, seems like the issues just keep on piling up, right TFF?

Earlier this afternoon my posts were up to 3,548. I posted a few times after that number.

And, I just came back and posted a few more times again within the last 45 mins, but now the posts only show 3,550. Soooo, that means the post count is also gone haywire....!?????
