Here is the original Discussion about the CNN emails. The members in here pretty much already new this was fake and even that the spammer switched email new bulletin names.

I was in a rush to read the "story" and fell for the ruse, realizing later that the adobe site was from .ru, now how do I get rid of the malware? I restored my system back to a couple before hoping that fixed the registry and etc. Also installed and scanned with MS Defender. Any other suggestions that are free?

I almost fell for it. But I went to CNN's site directly to unsubscribe from any more messages. I didn't recall signing up for nor did I want the "service". Good thing, too!
When CNN "didn't recognize my email" I figured out it was some sort of scam. I never thought of it being malware, I just figured it was a trick to get you to a site for genital enlargement. They are so clever that way, because everybody knows that people who read CNN or MSNBC need those products. (LOL)
