My sister has a Dell Dimension 2400. It's an older machine but still working well enough for her needs. Unfortunately, she recently downloaded Power Antivirus 2008 on to her PC. Does anybody know how I can rid of it? I've tried various suggestions from researching it but none have worked so far. Also, if I need to do a system recovery to her PC how can I do that if I can't find her discs purchased with her upgrade to XP from the original Windows 2000. Suggestions anyone?

Posted Image Hi :

Sounds like your sister has what the Malware-fighting "community" calls a "Rogue"
program !? Best to start, and hopefully end, with running a "Full Scan" of the
FREE "MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware", best downloaded from
www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php ; just click the green "Download" button to start
the "process" . After Installation, make sure you "Update" it PRIOR to running
its "Full Scan" .
