In search of a " WORD" program that will not blog system...

I am searching for a WORD/PDF program, is there such a FREE beast?

I have gotten rid of MS Office and only use this program for

word processing AbiWord-Free Word Processing Program .

Hi PCJohn,

I just got rid of MSFT Office Home and Student 2007 a few days ago... never used it and had no intentions to, either.

So I installed OpenOffice and I'm really liking it, even though I haven't used it too much. Click on the live link to check it out. It's a free download, and you can set it up to do just about anything with it.

Don't forget to mention that exporting PDF has been BUILT IN to OpenOffice.org for some time.

It reads & writes M$ Orifice documents as well, though you'll need to make sure you keep those M$ fonts around that Microsoft installs, or some documents will not come out too nice.
