Have You Heard? Google Is Going "Chrome"

I've heard a lot of people complaining about google's privacy policy about data received from chrome, but I don't understand what all the hoopla is about.
As Adama mentioned, the privacy policy for ALL google products has clauses granting google the non-exclusive right to use and or publish any content created with, displyed on, or uploaded to a google product/service. However, in that same policy, it says that such information will only be used to provide the functionality of, and improve the product/service, or to promote the product/service (as in creating ads about it).
So, in the "worst" case scenario, a bunch of google developers gossip about that embarassing picture you're managing with picasa, and they use some screenshots of your blog in a series of nationwide commercials. So, what's the problem here?
The only legitimate complaint I've seen is that it's internal search engine crawls secured sites, such as: online banking, insurance information sites, and the like. That's easily fixed, and I'm fairly confident it will be before the product leaves beta sometime in 2010 (google likes really long public betas).
