I wuld try to help you on locating it but I've never used Serif PhotoPlus :P only thing i've ever used is paint that comes with windows and photoshop lol. Yeah getting the words in the sig to be underneath didn't work no matter how hard i tried, so i went for above instead. Oh and before i forget my manners thanks for al the comments on the sig guys, it's appreciated :)

Chromium,

I have seen it in my program, I just haven't used it before so I don't remember where it is. I did find similar things, like Twirl, Wave, Swirl, etc., an endless array of different movement things.

ie - This is a pretty cool texture I found somewhere, I made some manips to it and changed it a bit.

This is the same texture with a Twirl effect from my X2:

Thanks for trying to help, but some of the effects in Photoshop cannot be duplicated anywhere else... so that's ok, I'm happy with what I have.... for now anyway. :D

Hi Kristina,

Try this one for your Profile, it's a JPEG:

I have to go run a couple of errands now. When I come back I'll post it as PNG and also as GIF, that way you can see which one works better for you.

Maybe it's time to talk to Bill and the-powers-that-be and convince them to upgrade the image-picker so that we can have better res images in this Community. WE NEED THAT!

it was some incoherent blabber wasn't it? lol, anyway what i was saying is that ii'm making some adjustments to your sig, none that i plan on having you use, unless you want to, just something to make him look a little more 3d, not just the arrow lol.

Ok, I'm back.

Here are the different formats for the same graphic. I have included the direct links to one of my photo hosting accounts, because sometimes the quality and res is better with a direct link.

This one is PNG:

This one is GIF (my Paint program warned me that this format would not be the best one, but I went ahead and clicked on Save As anyway):

As you see, it has a lot of what we call Noise.

And this is the same graphic I saved as GIF using another photo editing program:

It does look a little better than the one in Paint, but it's still not as good as the JPEG nor PNG.

Ok, Kristina, I have exhausted ALL the avenues and options available to me. If none of these work for your Profile, then we can blame PCW's server image-capture option for the poor res and quality of the image.

Hi Cr2,

I'm glad that you're taking the time to play with your Photoshop. The more you practice, the better you'll get. But I think you're pretty good already.

re: My sigs.... I gotta warn you, I like to change my sigs often, (I'm kind of fickle that way) ;) So, I hope you do not get upset when I change my sig, k?

I hope you like it, but you don't have to use it if you don't want to, of course. :D

Hey Adama, I saved that siggie you made and thanks. Looks good. Incidently, your siggie looks like the grown up version of your avatar.

It's tough when we lose one, but then we have all the good memories to look back on. I'm glad you have a new companion. Years ago, my late parents lost a dog that had been particularly good for them and they had him for years. They were not going to get another. Six months later they were down at a rescue shelter picking out a new on. Ginger was a small mixed breed and a joy to them. Ginger outlived them. After we lost mom, my sister would go by and feed and spend time with Ginger. We could not take her back. She was a connection. When my Nephew made the arrangements to buy the house, there was one condition. Ginger was part of the deal, which was not a problem, for my Nephew and his wife had two dogs already, now they had three. Ginger survived another three years or so.

Hi RGreen,

I was just taking a closer look at your sig, and I'm glad I used a maroon color in a couple of the brushes (with a bit of transparency) even though I didn't know that was one of your fave colors.

Also, I chose the peach color texture because I wanted it to match your Scouts symbol.

They all actually go well together, me thinks. :D

You really do have a knack for this. The avatar for krissy is great, for her. The dragon siggy and avatar for chromium is great for him. The design you came up for my siggy is great for me. That matching of the siggy to the individual requires a special touch.
