Adama sorry I wasn't around yesterday. You can post the picture whenever you want and I will check the thread for it.

Hi Grr8,

Here's the picture in question:

This was a lot of fun to make, even though it took several hours. I hope you like it. I didn't know if you were wanting to use it as a sig, so I didn't resize it. If you do, just let me know and I'll see what I can do about it.

Enjoy!

Grr8008:

Please remove the new image from your signature line and re-size it down in physical size (i.e. pixel size by pixel size) or have [~80073] do it for you as she offered....and then re-attach it to your signature. And you should only use one "large" image in your signature line. Your signature line is taking up WAY too much space.

My goodness! Even though the size is comparable to what pcw would allow, it looks too big! I hope smax doesn't come around and try to resize it for you! LOL He's a little stickler about things like that. Hi smax! :D :p

Mods cannot currently adjust signatures (that will change with the new software), but it can be dealt with if not done by the users after being requested to deal with it.

If [~166767] plans on having both the new and old picture, then you might need to help him shrink the old picture some as well as both will likely take up too much space.

And this is not as much as file size issue as it is it is a "takes up a crap load of screen real estate" issue. Since signatures appear with EVERY SINGLE post you do and will change every post when you change it, the actual physical size of the images in signature lines become more of an issue than the physical onscreen size of images in a single post.

Hi Grr8 - NP, I'll resize it for you.

Hi smax - I had already offered to resize it for him, but it'll have to wait until tomorrow. I'm heading off to a meditation reunion and I'll be gone for the rest of the day. Thank you!

Yep...I know...which is why I asked him to either resize it himself or take you up on your offer to resize it (see post #224 above).

You might need to help him resize his current sig image as well if he wants to use both images in his signature line in the future. Two images of the size of his current image would be a bit much as both would take up a rather significant amount of screen space on ALL of his posts. While not as bad as it was with the new image without being resized, it would still not be too cool. We do not have any concrete rules on this, but common courtesy to other users would be to keep the signature line stuff rather small.

No problem, Grr8!
Here's a better size for you to use as a sig. It's small enough that I think you might be able to use your Sephira one next to it, but I'm not sure.

Enjoy!

Hi RG,

:D I'm so glad you like it. Ok, here's the story:

Most all of the elements in your sig came from the aTm website, I'll upload the background so you can see it.

Darn it!! The Insert image thingy is not working right!! It's asking me to insert an URL instead of the real picture. It's too late for me to go to Photobucket and upload the things I wanted to show you, so I'll have to do it tomorrow, maybe, if I have the chance.
