How on earth do i set processor affinity in vista? Link is example/overview of it. This could aid me in speeding up applications and parts of vista in general. I just need to see how it's done.
Thanks

Open task manager . Go the processes tab. Right click the process for which you want to change affinity and the options of set affinity will be there.

I believe a restart is required to see the changes.

Just a word of caution before you start making changes - make a note somewhere of all the processes changed by you in case you need to set them back to default. As far as i know , there is no way to reset this setting for all processes. So any change made has to be manually reverted if the need arises.
