I followed your instructions to see the cookies folder. I did access it but the cookies that were there are a copy of theier version that is really used in action.
I am looking to find the folder that includes the actual cookie that is used by Internet content. I need to edit one of my cookies. I did try to do it in the Cookies folder that you pointed us (users) to, but when I tested to see if the change was applied, I found that the change did not apply.
I believe the true original version of these cookies is in the folder "Temporary Internet Files". That's the folder that shows up when you go in Internet Options and look under "Browse history" and click on Settings then click on View Files .
I have tried endlessly to change the attribute of this folder so I can change a cookie in it, but no matter how many times I do it, Vista home premium acts like I successfully unselect the Read only selection, but Vista forces it to remain Read-only. This was not an issue with earlier versions of Windows.
Can you show me how I can make this folder remain not Read-only? Is it some kind of security setting or some other way?
Your effort is appreciated in providing the answer.
Thank you
