In fact it may be both. You have eliminated the general memory modules, but the GC also has memory.

Ok, I think maybe you need to check and see if that game will in fact run in Crossfire configuration as some won't. coastie

Oops, no, I'm not running CrossfireX - yet. The "Sonic Dual Edition" just means that it has 2 bioses so you can switch between a preconfigured "Turbo" overclocked bios mode or the normal mode. It's all on one card. I think I'm going to RMA this GC and get a different version of the 4870 because this one is being too much of a crap monkey. I will post another topic if I need anymore help. Thanks alot guys! :D

The advice here has been pretty good as driver errors can
give PAGEFAULTINNONPAGEDAREA
as can memory faults. However, I have seen this error because of a loose
connection. I suggest checking every connection in the case. This includes
molex connectors, ide and sata connectors and expansion cards. It’s best to
take them out and reinsert them. Hope this helps.

Hope it works for you- it has for me in the past. There's no guarantee this is your poblem, but it's pretty easy to eliminate.

Ok I know pretty much for sure what the problem is - RAM timings. I'm going to fiddle around with that a bit now.

I know that many times when one orders parts for a PC, they don't think about this, but did you check the specifications for certified memory for this Mobo? One thing I have a habit of is downloading the manuals for items I am considering (like Mobo's) from the company's website and checking out the specifications. On the ASUS website I found the Qualified Vendors List (QVL) for memory for this ASUS board. For the FSB of 1333, it lists one Patriot memory module, the 1GB PDC321333LLK. Here is a snip of the 1333FSB page.

They want me to buy Samsung RAM? That's stupid. No I haven't overclocked anything.

As long as it is the right ram for the system, The brand doesn't matter, although everybody has their preference. It sounds to me like they are pushing Samsung for what ever reason. coastie

Ok I'm going to either send it in and pay for them to fix it (in the end they might just tell me to get different RAM) or just return the RAM and get different modules right away.
