Hi All, I decided to give this thing a go. Well, it has turned out to be a nightmare. I know I have missed some treasures. I got to the castle, and have have progressed to the sewers, therein lies the problem. Once you take out the machine gun at the end, it is the second part that is the killer as they are comming at from every which way and there are few places of cover and that isn't all that great as they still get you. Playing ring around the columns doesn't work all that well either. Fortunately I still have a few cards left to play ( I think). To be honest, I am not much on shooters and never have been as I prefer slicing and dicing with swords and axes. The game designers could have least thrown in a bullet proof vest somewhere along the way. :D Oh well, guess I'll get wasted another thousand times before I prevail. coastie65

Hi Adama, I'm glad to see you've finally graced us with your presence :D . It was kinda quiet. rg was in earlier, but has departed. I get to that game in the evening for about an hour maybe. When my Mom gets her lap top, no telling when I'll get to it as I expect she will be driving me crazy. I'll be splitting my time here and with her, although all I'll need do is walk into the other room, get her straight, and then back here. I might get that guy through that place by Christmas if all goes well. :D coastie

OFF TOPIC
Hi Coastie. Thanks for the nice words. :D
I was busy making a pet memorial for a friend of mine. I'm actually thinking about starting something on the side making these memorials... (but I think that's such a somber name...) I already have another name for them in mind, though. :)

You certainly did an excellent job for snorg & Chico on that memorial. I think you are beginning to find all kinds of avenues to explore. Be careful that your plate doesn't start looking like Thanksgiving. :D Never bodes well when you end up with too much on it.

Okay, I found a quirk in the game. I thought i was stuck in this place as when you drop into the room you get beseiged by pirates shooting from all directions with very little cover which is frustrating. I walked back down the tunnel to where the bridge was tht I came in. On the other side I noticed some broken stairs and was able to climb up. I retraced my steps back to where I had first entered this part of the fortress. I found a new Hand gun infinately better than the one I had. I then started back and found some more ammunition for it. I then nosed around some more, and went into buil where I did a slide in through the roof the first time. I saw an AK against the wall but I already had one so just got some additional Ammo for it. After a lot more looking around, I went on back to that place again. Just before I got there, I could hear the pirates yelling and shooting, Went up on the ledge and loked into room and they had materialized without me having to drop in to the room. I went back down the tunnel to a room off to the side and got a MK79 grenade launcher to take out a pesky machine gun nest across the room. Once I did that I did a little overkill and took out a guy with an Automatic weapon on a scaffold. I then went back and got the AK and then started working on then from up above with some cover. Before, those guys didn't appear until you dropped into the room with them and there was no way to get back up. When they appeared without me having to drop into the room, That was all I needed, after all, us older gamers need all the help we can get. Coastie65
