I am amazed that an earlier post mentioned running it on ati Radeon X200. That is the chipset that is in here and it crashed on every game I tried to run. I was going to trade this thing a week later on a Gateway, but bought a PCIe Video card instead. In hindsight, I maybe should have traded although I would have had to pony up an additional $300 or so.

Hey Coastie,
I've got the Radeon X800. The memory clock is topped to 980 MHz. I could probably get away with LOW settings on Crysis, but that wouldn't do much for game performance.
I may swap out this motherboard later down the road and do a video card upgrade.

Not bad - I'm impressed.
Okay. Strong language . By strong language, is the F Bomb going off all the time?

yup , language is strong. The f bomb is heard often , KPA men shouting "american a$$*" all the time . Leave the cutscenes , you can hear that during fighting also.

Hey piyush, Where did you find that thing for testing your system? I looked and couldn't find anything like that.
switch to vista coastie. lol Its a vista feature called "Windows experience index" which rates everything out of 5.9 max. Another vista feature is the "vista games explorer" that contains info about all games installed and shortcuts , required rating and recommended rating. That was a snip from the vista games explorer (VGE).
Here's my experience index . Considering the max. at 5.9 , my systems pretty good at 5.5 for a 1.5 yr old build.
And this is the VGE .

Hey piyush, :p Figures it would be a Vista thing. XP doesn't need it, as it knows it is good to go. :D The demo for Crysis ran just fine on this thing although I ran it in 1024x768 with the AA turned off, but everything else on high. Seemed to get very good frame rates as well. I am not an FPS person though. I do have a third person shooter on the PS3 which is good ( Uncharted : Drakes Fortune ), if not frustrating at times.

Piyush... or Coastie ... send me the download link for the demo. I'm going to regret the swearing but I want to see if my machine can run it.
