Hi, i have posted several times on this web-site and you guys helped a lot. I got one question to you folks, I haven't used my laptop in a while and before I broke myscreen I used to use SourceSDK program from Steam to make map and it run perfectly. Now after about 5 month, once i purchased my new screen I installed CS:Source and tried using Source SDK tools (Hammer Editor), but when I start that thing it becomes VERY laggy. Basically Like when you have really low frame rates in a video game I get the same thing with the program. My laptop is HP Pavilion dv6500 Specail Edition. I don't really know why it's doing it, may be it is because my fans on the laptop are working really loud and hard, but it used to be the same a before too, and SDK still worked. I am not sure if it is some sort of a wierd up-date from steam or what but I was hoping if you guys know anything about it and how to fix it.

I looked all over the internet, but don't seem to find my problem.

Sorry I am not sure if this is the right place to ask this question, but I know you guys are good at answering these question and yall might know.

thanks you.

Hey Dennis!!

I don't know about SDK but, have you tried the Steam site for News and their Forum?

They should be the ones to ask about your lagging program or game.

Here is the link to both"

Steam News . And the one for their forum:

Steam Forum .

I hope you will resolve your problem there if not, post back and we will see what can be done.
