I am unable to post comments to blogs, what's wrong? I have tried it in Firefox and Opera.
Well, anyway, here is what I wanted to add to "talk to me nerdy: what's your most important tech habit?":
I always carry around bootable flash drives with any tools I should need. That way if I am not on a suitable machine, I can just boot my flash drive and everything is there. Two of my favorites are BartPE builder (www.nu2.nu/pebuilder/), which can build an ISO ("dd" it to your flash drive and add a writable partition), and OpenSuSE Linux, which has many drivers clumped in a nearing-100MB kernel making it work well on various machines. I prefer OpenSuSE, though, because the UI is better, it is more easily configured, and I have never had issue, as it has ran on Kentsfield desktops and Turion laptops.

Hi BAMT,
If you wanted to post comments on any of PCWorld's blogs and you're not able to, I think your best bet would be to repost your question in the PCWorld Website forum. That way, the people in charge of this website will be able to notice your question.
