Posted Image Hi Jon :

Sounds like you have what the malware-fighting "community" calls a "Rogue" & the

PRIMARY program to fight these is Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware; their FREE Version

is available at www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php ; IF this program does NOT

remove it, then use their companion program called "Rogue Remover" at

[http://www.malwarebytes.org/rogueremover.php] . IF neither gets rid of "it", let me

know and I will recommend a very good Site to get FREE Expert Help .

By the way, there are better security program(s) than AVG, some of them FREE ; a good

Starting Point would be to read the info at [http://forums.pcworld.com/docs/DOC-1141|d-1141] .
