Just today, began getting above error message in FF 3.0.3 browser when attempting to access some sites. Getting to this site, for instance, obviously was successful.

Googled subject and found some think either a virus or corrupted hosts file. Suggestions? Thanks.

to provide more SPECIFIC Info as to the Names of all your security programs and the

Result(s) of any Scans you ran !? Also need to know SPECIFIC Name of your OS !?

Yeah, I read that Mozillazine post prior to posting here. Thanks anyway. Thing is, this problem also occurred in IE 6. Suppose should've mentioned that in initial post here.

Anyway, after I posted here, received a reply from first problem site's administrator that they were running some kind of test at the time I was attempting access so must have been a server problem.

No "Bad Request (Invalid Hostname)" errors since.
