Thanks for the good article
www.hdtracks.com recenly started to offer 96/24 downloads. I love the way they sound!!
I guess mp3 are ok to listen to on a bus commute to work via headphones
I just cant stand listening to mp3's on a home stereo. it sounds like a piece of tinfoil being crumpled up and makes my ears bleed real bad!
The industry seems to be going in the wrong direction. More music crammed into a small footprint.
It is incredibly refreshing to see the 96/24 downloads being offered from various websites.

Let's just set up some blind listening test and see who can distinguish between 256Kb VBR and lossless codecs. Anyone? I wonder.

I get confused with all the streamer-solutions on the market. I'm just looking to play my music/flac wireless from pc/laptop directly to my active speakers. Whats. the best way?

With a good hi quality audio system, I can immediately determine the difference. In fact, I can easily tell the
difference between a high quality 24-bit / 96KHz FLAC source and CD (384 kbps or 44.1 KHz) source in my audio system.
