I don't think they let you use pop servers for free.

Default e-mail client in vista is Windows Mail. Windows mail doesnt support hotmail . Read more here . You may download Windows Live Mail and use it.

As I know , only paid account can use POP.

Its not Vista that won't let you setup......Its the company that let you use their servers......Should be happy with your FREE email.

Pay up budd.

No, it came with Vista Home Premium. 1.73ghz centrino duo with a gig of ram. I upgraded to 2 gigs. It's just that it came with Intel's GMA 950 chipset and it doesn't handle gaming well under Vista. I installed XP and found all the corresponding drivers by searching Intel's website but I recently decided I'd try Vista out again. My mistake. So I'm trying to decide between dual booting XP and Vista or just using XP and Ubuntu. XP has better battery life and the laptop runs alot cooler all of the time. The touchpad and palm rests warm up under Vista pretty bad sometimes (no, the bottom vents aren't constriced and I took the laptop apart a month or so ago and cleaned everything out) I like the flashyness of Vista but I can get almost the same thing with XP.

Oh man...you r out of luck....Mine came with the same chipset as yours....It suck with games....I'm not a game freak....So I'm OK with it..

Yah...Its HOT......My other laptop with XP...and Its hot too...Can't tell which one is Hoooter...Ooop.. I meant Hotter..LOL ( I have one Sony/vista & one HP/XP).

Hopefully most of the software companies will catch up soon.
