Let me ask this: is the ending worse than Bioshock's? Surely that was the worst (two) ending(s) of all time, and if Fo3's isn't as bad as that then I'm sure I can handle it.
On the other hand ... if it is, in fact, worse ... maybe I'll just call it a day at level 20 now.

Okay, now that I've finished the game, everyone has been crying over spilled milk.
That ending isn't horrible at all, what are all the big publications talking about?? Did they play Bioshock last year? THAT was a horrible ending. Fairy tale bs.
How did you want Fallout 3 to end, with sunshine lollipops and rainbows? I say it again, the ending was perfectly acceptable.

my biggest disappointment with the ending was that it ended. whether i lived or died in the end, i was still unable to explore the world any more and now i have to find a previous save-game if i want to do so. no option to start a game with new features, nothing. just goodbye character.
