Good afternoon (here). I have already received several valuable suggestions to my query but was advised to submit my request as a new general thread thereby possibly receiving additional suggestions so here goes.

While on the computer, doing whatever, I usually listen to radio stations playing music. Occassionally I hear an interesting/unique song that I have never heard before and wish I could have recorded it while listening to it. Does anyone ("out there" as Captain Kirk used to say) have any suggestions as to how I can do this? I do have a couple of sites where I can go to to download any song by any artist but these songs/artists are, as I said earlier, unique and are not available anywhere.

From previous experience I've learned that it is helpful if you know the following:

Dell Inspiron 530 ~ Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition ~ SP3 ~ ATI HD Audio rear output ~ Realtek HD Audio output ~ ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT.

Any assistance/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, in advance

Yeppy

Hi Yepytzme,

I got the email notif from the other thread. You're very welcome, it was my pleasure.

I'm glad that you took Smax suggestion and started a new thread, now your new question will get the right comments.

Have a good one! :^0

If you're listening to the sound on your PC then you should be able to use a sound recorder like Audacit.
