Hey Computercam!!

Welcome to PCWorld Community!

My take on this is that , since XP has reached "End of Life" as a product

from MS, they (MS) are trying to dissuade you from having fun with it!

I even tried looking for it by signing in to my account but, they are not

cooperating at all saying that "The Page Cannot Be Found" .

Here are a few sites where you can still download the last version of

TweakUI. Once on those sites you might be able to find the Resizer

you are looking for.

TwaekUI XP from SnapFiles .

TweakUI XP from Ramesh's Site .

TweakUI XP from FileHippo .

This is the message that I got when I tried to access MS PowerToys:

"We are sorry, the page you requested cannot be found.

See below for search results close to your request, or try a new search."

Hope you find what you're looking for.

OH, I have a File resizer which installs on your right click menu (Context Menu)

Thanks, Its a shame they took it down... Was wondering why though...

Also I think I found a copy while searching (And from PCWorld), hopefully it's the most recent version, if there is more than one version.

Hey Tech!!

Nice to see that your lapy is working fine!

I always try to download directly from the Original web site. This

will give you the latest version and if there are any problems that surfaced with the last version

well, they would be reported .This also would avoid a potentially corrupted

download. it doesn`t mean that it would not happen but, the chances are

greatly diminished.

talk to you latter Tech!

Just discovered somthing weird... If you click the link next to "author" on PCWorlds download page for the Image Resizer your taken to the Microsoft PowerToys website.

Here is the link to the PowerToys website: www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx

It looks like my problem is solved, Thanks! :D

Hey Computecam!!

Yes, you are absolutely right. Even logged in to my Technet account at MS.

they still did not find what I was looking for . kept re-directing me to Vista .

The link that you and Tech4me found is over 5 years old. I would download

from MS's page that you found for whatever you need. The download from

PCW might not work properly. BUT, I might be wrong, as I did not try that

particular one. Like I said , I'd rather download from the Author's site.

Well , looks like you found what you were looking for. Hope you have fun

with your new toys.

Hey Tech!!

Sorry for the misunderstanding , I didn't see or realize that both were the same link

which you came up with first. I guess you should have the green check mark EH!

And YES , it is very cold here in the soon to be Great White North. As I write this , it is

well, take a look.
