My HP2572 networked printer is printing one page with one garbled line per page and won't stop. There are no print spools open and I have shut the unit off. unplugged and restarted. Everytime I restart, it begins printing as described above. All I can think of is that there must be a job in memory that it is still spooling. One solution is to load paper and let it go until it is done, but I don't want to waste paper (and ink). Is there a "hard" reset for these printers?

garbled printing means that the driver is bad, or it's the incorrect one for that printer

Hi Professor. Is this the driver for your Photosmart 2573.? (can't find 2572).:Just click on the OS of your Pc that you use for the printer.
