This is a cool idea...the only problem is, when you try to go through the approval process they say they will get back to you in 30 days. Which far surpasses the cut off for the deal.

I had the same problem. I have a very good credit score (790). I got instant approval on an Acura MDX about 2 months ago. But when I tried to sign up for the Sony Card I got the message that they would get back to me within 30 days.
I had my wife sign up separately under her name. Her credit score is even higher than mine and she got the same "we will let you know" response. I wonder...has anyone gotten "instant" credit?

I got instant credit. But I just found out my credit line was only $500. However, I don't think Sony intended to limit people's credit, but more of an issue with banks' willingness to lend these days. Maybe call Chase and find out what's going on.

I just realized the problem in my case is that I have a security guard on my credit history. Normally, when applying for instant credit, I have to speak to a real person and they go through a series of security questions. In this case, I guess Sony (or Chase) isn't set up for it. Just hope I get approval in the next couple of weeks.

hey coastie65, i think you may be one of only a few hundred people who got selected to have a chance of getting a ps3 bundle at that price. but i think the amount is still only limited to 500. unfortunately, i wasn't even selected to have an option of getting it at that price =(

Hi Kojero, When i clicked on it this morning, it said i hadn't been selected either although I voted yesterday. Oh well. I already have one anyway, so no great loss. :D

Lucky! I was totally waiting to see if I got picked. Was hoping to get a PS3 this year but them being $400 isn't happening. Was hoping Amazon came through for me. =(
