Gentleman and Ladies if appropriate,

Vista frustration with a new laptop led me to the decision to consider alternatives..
When I could not upgrade my Xp desktop, I decided to convert to Apple's IMac.
Since my current emphasis is not office related and more on photos, music and the web it fits nicely.

My problem. I have some 6000 photos tagged with Photoshop Elements Version 6 (people, places, events etc). I would
dearly love to transfer this meta data into the Imac where I can then use Mac's "IPhoto" to handle them and create slide shows etc.
Since I could not see a way to do this directly, I purchased the Mac version (6) of the same Adobe software (Photoshop Elements) to facilitate
the transfer. It is quite different! It uses a sub program called Bridge to sort and select photos. So I am not sure how to proceed.

My original photos were transferred over from the Dell to the Mac but I can not determine if the meta data is in place and how I should
go about transferring it. I would appreciate any help you could provide.

Cheers,

Zinfan

The new Imac desktop has 4 Gb of Ram and the Dell Pentium 4 is available to re-download the photos if necessary.
